The art of ballet is shrouded in rituals. They accompany me on a daily basis, from practicing on my own to rehearsing and preparing for performances. I‘ve been dancing for about 20 years and rituals have become an integral part of the daily routine. A sequence of actions leading to amazing results. In a fast-paced world, it’s getting harder to remember the need to take care of yourself. Both in body and soul. Balance is important in every aspect of life. I have been learning balance all my life. In the professional realm balance is in the plane of the body, in the personal space – is an emotional balance, but no matter how you shine inside, that feeling is not always expressed on the outside. At one stage in my life, I had forgotten that the human face is a mirror of the soul, revealing how much love is given to oneself. In order to discover harmony with myself, skincare has also become a ritual for me, I have included in my daily routine the Korean face care ritual – face cleansing and washing, face toning, pampering with a sheet mask and applying serum and cream. I practice this ritual 3-4 times a week. I feel much fresher and glad that I can dedicate time only to MYSELF. After the performances it is very important to recover and to relax. Rest is needed not only for the body, but also for the face. A lot of makeup is used during the show, the facial skin becomes heavy. It is very important to clean the face well and revitalize it.
